I don’t know which type of cam site I want

# Two products. Don’t mix the math.

If you want free browse then optional tips, start freemium (Stripchat / Chaturbate). If you want exclusive paid time as the main product, start private networks (LiveJasmin / Streamate). Token packs and private credits are not interchangeable units.

Freemium sites sell tokens you tip in public rooms; private networks sell credits for timed one-to-one shows, and the two units are not interchangeable. On file, Stripchat’s token packs work out to $0.085–$0.111 per token (guest-UI observed, 2026-09-20) and LiveJasmin’s credit packs to €1.13–€1.33 per credit (logged-in cashier observed, 2026-09-21).

## What to avoid

Picking solely by “lowest token price” across different product models.

## Common questions

**Q: Which is cheaper?**

A: It depends on how you spend. Freemium can be $0 to watch; costs spike with tips/privates. Private networks charge for exclusive time up front. Compare the job, not a single unit price.

**Q: Where should a complete beginner start?**

A: Stripchat or Chaturbate for free browse, with auto-refill off. Move to LiveJasmin only if you specifically want paid private minutes.
